subject: Come see our first public flight demos

Hi there!

Big news this week: we’re finally ready to show off our delivery drones in action! A lot of you have had a chance to meet us and take photos with our drone on the ground. But this Saturday (Dec. 11) we will be conducting our first public flight demonstrations in Frisco and Little Elm.

Our drones will be conducting practice deliveries to two locations at different times throughout the day, so everyone has a chance to stop by.

Drones will be flying about every 10 minutes, so there’s no rush to get there. Grab an ice cream, take a selfie with the drone and stay for the flights. Please share your photos on social with #dronedelivery so your neighbors can see it too!

Why are we doing these demo flights?

Our customers in Frisco and Little Elm will be inviting us into their neighborhoods, and we take that responsibility very seriously. We do community outreach so you know how it works and what we are trying to achieve long before our first commercial deliveries. Hosting pop-up events allows us to get real time feedback and address concerns, while also getting to know you better so we can improve our service offerings.

Wing in the Community

So, what have we been doing? Since late October we’ve been partnering with The City of Frisco, Town of Little Elm, local HOAs and other local organizations to host informal meet and greet events. We’ve also hosted press, so they’re able to help us spread the word.

And we’re not done yet! If you want us to speak at an upcoming meeting or host a pop up in your neighborhood, reply to this email.

We hope to see you all on Saturday!
